The principal threat this facility is from PETA for research use ("torture") of animals in testing and vivisection, with vivariums for isolation of infected animals, dangerous drugs and diseases under test, for animal hostels and for disposal of contaminated animal wastes, body parts and carcasses. Access to the animal testing laboratories is strictly controlled within the facility by electronic and bionic security systems; the landscape contains security sensors with 24-hour patrols; the site is hidden from nearby public highways; and campus access control is similar to that of neighboring spy agencies, perhaps even greater due to the toxins being studied and harm to imprisoned creatures.
